Oakland sits in the heart of Bergen County, which means guests coming from Franklin Lakes, Mahwah, Ramsey, Wayne, and Ridgewood are never far. But the real reason planners keep coming back isn't the location. It's that both properties deliver serious food, flexible spaces, and attentive service under one roof, every time.

Rooms That Actually Fit Your Group

At the banquet hall, we have six room configurations. The Dome Room is our most sought-after space, seating 70 to 120 guests. It's where most of our mitzvahs, sweet sixteens, and quinceañeras happen, and it earns that reputation. Open it into the Annex, and the room grows to handle 120 to 250 guests. Smaller parties fit comfortably in the Front Room, Back Room, or Annex Room, each accommodating 50 to 70 guests, and the Main Floor handles 70 to 130.

If your group doesn't hit the banquet hall's 50-adult minimum, the restaurant is steps away with seven private spaces. The Sala and Cucina each hold up to 120 guests. The Lounge fits 45, the Library 30, the Family Room and Racetrack up to 20 each, and the Bar area handles a cocktail party of up to 50. Restaurant party packages start at 30 adults, so a school committee dinner or a corporate lunch for 35 has a real home here.

The Food Is What People Come Back For

Both properties serve traditional Italian and modern American cuisine, and we take that seriously. Banquet dinner packages offer choices across chicken, veal, fish, and beef. You can select veal chop Valdostano, stuffed with sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, prosciutto, and fontina cheese. Chilean sea bass, petite filet mignon with lobster butter, and surf and turf are all on the table. 

Pasta comes with more than a dozen sauce options, from pink vodka to Marechiara, a full seafood blend. Every banquet package includes a special occasion cake or Italian pastries, and the cake fillings alone run from cannoli and chocolate mousse to dulce de leche, with fresh fruit upgrades available.

Events We Host All Year

The banquet hall handles birthdays, anniversary parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, sweet sixteens, quinceañeras, baby and bridal showers, school functions, seminars, and corporate events. Each event type has its own package structure. The school function dinner runs Monday through Thursday and builds a buffet around five entrée selections, garden salad, fresh mozzarella, bruschetta, focaccia, dessert, and soft drinks. Mitzvah packages include a dedicated children's menu, an ice cream sundae bar station, a display challah, and a five-hour premium open bar for adults. 

The sweet sixteen and quinceañera buffet option covers its own entrée list, celebration cake, sliced fruit, ice cream, and soft drinks. These aren't generic packages with a new label. They're built around the occasion.

Bar Service and Table Setup

Open bar packages come in one, two, three, and four-hour increments with premium liquor available. Tab bar and cash bar formats are both options. For younger events, a non alcoholic martini station keeps things festive without the open bar. A bartender is required for open and tab bar setups.

Every banquet package includes a fitted-to-the-floor ivory tablecloth, your choice of napkin color, and gold Chiavari chairs with white seats. Colored overlays or ivory Majestic overlays are available at an extra fee if you want to dress the room further.

Beyond Private Events

We also host public events that keep Oakland's calendar full. Comedy Nights at the banquet hall combines a grand dinner buffet with a live show. Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Easter, and Mother's Day each bring dedicated grand buffet formats with multiple seatings. 

The New Year's Eve party runs from 9 pm to 1 am with DJ music, dancing, and a four-hour open bar. At the restaurant, Sunday Brunch runs weekly from 11 am to 2 pm, and special event DJ and dancing nights take place on select Fridays and Saturdays starting at 9:30 pm.
